Experience the local way of living in the famous Avenue of the Volcanoes in the Ecuadorian highlands, where you will find narrow trails used by the local mountain people that lead deep into the heart of Andean culture. Trek for three days to reach Quilotoa volcano, then hike down to the base of the Quilotoa crater-lake and swim in the volcanic waters. You will also climb up to the 5000m glacier of Chimborazo, the highest volcano in Ecuador.
