Sofia Pineiro and professional paragliding pilot, Thomas de Dorlodot, are about to leave their home (but not their friends), to sail around the world on their latest, and arguably biggest, SEARCH Project yet.
They climbed the equivalent of Everest four times, battled headwinds and a heat wave and hiked and flew 2,000km to cross the Alps.
The seventh edition of the ‘world’s toughest adventure race,’ the Red Bull X-Alps 2015 begins on 5th July.
